Shannon A. R. Allen, Esq.

Shannon is a trained Mediator and Christian Conciliator with a passion for peacemaking. Her goal is to bring peace to every level of the conflict facing her clients and their families.

Shannon received her Bachelor of the Arts from Pepperdine University, where she graduated magna cum laude, and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado Law, where she graduated on the dean’s list. Shannon is a devoted academic and a critical thinker.  She is a trained Mediator and Peacemaker and a certified Child and Family Investigator. 

After clerking for a Colorado District Court Judge and researching for the Colorado Office of the Alternate Defense Counsel, Shannon narrowed her practice to exclusively family law in 2012, focusing her her legal practice on all areas of family law, including divorce/ dissolution, allocation of parental responsibilities, child and spousal support, division of property, relocation, mediation and alternate dispute resolution. In 2017, Shannon transitioned her practice to primarily mediation and Child and Family Investigator work.

Shannon regularly volunteers with the Justice and Mercy Legal Aid Clinic (JAMLAC) in Denver, providing legal consultations to low-income victims of domestic violence.

Shannon spends most of her spare time hanging out with her husband Matt and her two sons. She loves cycling, skiing, raft guiding, traveling, gardening, and eating delicious food.

Rachel D. Anderson, Esq.

Prior to transitioning her practice to focus on mediation, as a co-founding partner of Anderson Allen LLC, Rachel provided compassionate and skilled legal representation to clients through all types of family law matters including high-conflict and complex financial cases of divorce / dissolution, allocation of parental responsibilities, paternity, child support, spousal support, property division, modifications, post-decree matters, mediation, and arbitration.  Rachel previously practiced at the largest domestic litigation firm in the country, as well as at a small faith-based general practice firm.  

Rachel received her bachelor’s degree with a double major in sociology and criminal justice from Regis College.  She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2009. 

Rachel serves on the Executive Board of Directors of the Christian Legal Society of Metro Denver.  She also volunteers at a legal aid clinic that provides legal services to low-income victims of domestic violence.

Rachel is a fifth-generation Coloradan who loves live music, snowboarding, and spending time outdoors with her husband and dogs.
